Could you please explain to me the difference between using hot vs. cold glove oil?
I have a couple of gloves/catcher's mitt that needs cleaning up. I was told to use glove oil. Of course, I was told I could use other products, such as shaving cream and virtually anything that had lanolin in it. But I prefer to buy some actual glove oil. But now, I'm told there is 'hot' oil and 'cold' oil you can buy/use. Please help me by explaining the benefits (pros/cons) of using both types of oil. Also, please please tell me how to apply the oil on these baseball gloves properly. I'd really appreciate it! Thank you.
