08 is the Easton Synergy Extended Slow Pitch softball bat the same as the synergy of 05?

I have broken two, 08 Synergy Extended felt no how the model 05 (red / silver). Called easton and replaced him wonder if anyone else has had problems with this stick.

I recently used the model 08 and it felt so good to me. I never used a model of 05 so I can not help compare, sorry
