What are the best accent colours for a bedroom that is navy blue, silvery-grey & white?

The colour scheme is applied to the room as follows:

Navy blue (walls, bedsheet, pillow shams, curtains)
Silvery-grey (carpet)
White (trim, sheer curtains)

I was thinking about a RED blanket and throw pillows.

What do you think would suit better than red?

I think red would look great if that's a color you like; if you are only choosing it because you think it will work well, there are a few others that would too. I think a celery, sage or light lime would look nice and so would a shade of cinnamon or even a medium shade of purple or periwinkle. I think the green or purple would look best, but that's me. A shade of orange or gold would definitely warm up the room. First, find some accent pillows that you love for your navy bedding. Then choose the shade from those. An area rug or a piece of art can also be a starting point.
