What's the point of having a separate glove for pitching?
My friend bought a new glove that he uses for pitching only. The glove seems pretty cool, but the one i have right now is also good. He got it for a really low price and i found it, should i buy it? Give me your thoughts.
When pitching you want a smaller glove because it gets in the way of your motion less. Pitching gloves usually have a closed pocket or webbing so that batters can't see you hands in the glove gripping the ball. Also, it looks cooler on the mound when you're not pitching with a huge outfield or infield glove.
