What is the equation to convert softball pitch speed to baseball equivalent?
What is the specific equation to allow me to convert a softball pitch speed to is baseball equivalent? I.E. if she pitches 'x' mph at 40 ft, what would it be at 60'6"? thank you
A direct proportion.. x(40) = y(60' 6''). But i think what you want is the baseball speed that is as fast as the softball speed, I think that is a relative calculation so I'm not sure how they do that. What i gave you is the speed of the ball if it has to travel 20 ft more which isnt the same.
